Ron Thomason is a 1985 graduate of the University of Houston Law Center. He began his legal career with the firm of Parish & Ellison, first as a clerk in 1983 and then as an associate in 1985. His primary focus was the exploration and production of oil & gas, including all forms of title examination and a variety of transactional matters. The oil and gas industry downturn in the 1980’s allowed him to obtain extensive experience in bankruptcy, foreclosures, and acquisitions. He brought these skills in-house as an attorney for TransAmerican Natural Gas Corporation, and eventually set out to focus on oil and gas title work.
Since those formative years, Mr. Thomason’s practice has evolved to include a wide variety of oil and gas matters, including property acquisitions, due diligence, and title examinations in all the major Texas plays. His work ethic and skills have been sought out by numerous firms, including Labanowski & Associates, Rosie & Flanagan, P.C., Gary E. Ellison, P. C., Frank J. Rosie & Associates, and most recently, Petry & Sinex. His love of challenging title work has brought him to Petry Rosie & Sinex where he looks forward to spending many more years serving his clients.
